REFUGEE SHELTERS

WE WORK WITH:

FLÜCHTLINGSZENTRUM MERTENSSTRASSE

Every Friday, we bring our workshops to this shelter in Spandau with the collaboration of Berliner Stadtmission and their social workers. This center is located in an old, empty tobacco factory.

RATHAUS

WILMERSDORF

We go to this center each Tuesday to spend 2 hours with the children. People who escaped war zones in Syria, Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq live here and have their own private rooms. It used to be a town hall. This shelter closed down in December 2017.

GEMEINSCHAFTSUNTERKUNFT

PANKOW

Every Saturday afternoon our volunteers organize workshops for teenagers. This center is quite new and is part of the Stiftung Unionhilfswerk Berlin.

With the money from the lottery, Aktion Mensch promotes projects for people with disabilities, children and young people - up to 1,000 projects a month. Since its inception, Aktion Mensch has given around 4 billion euros to projects.

We would also like to acknowledge everyone who has participated in our workshops, people who have donated time, material or money, people who supported our project and gave us contacts or advice on how to make it grow.
